Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly proceeding.
